It’s Friday, it’s payday and best bets and long shots are abound.

Before we get to today’s picks, how-about DRF’s Dave Litfin nailing his $17.60 best bet in the 7th at Saratoga yesterday; today Dave puts Heavenly Vision (PP: 3 ML 7/2) at the top spot for today’s card. The NY Post’s John DaSilva, his crew and NJ.com’s Ron Rippey all select the 6, Future Prospect (ML 2-1), in the 7th as “The Lock of the Day.” Single – Single in never a bad way to start off a pick 4 or pick 3 wager.

To get the bankroll rollin’ at Finger Lakes Race Track, Lake’s Lucky Picks says Sweet and Clear (PP: 6 ML 2-1) is sure to win in the 6th. While Call Michael (PP: 10 ML 8-1) in the 5th and Isyouis (PP:7 ML 12-1) in the 9th are two long shots well worth your consideration.
